About the Department of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine

To enhance the cultivation of clinical medical professionals, our university leverages the advantages of a multidisciplinary university education. We have established bilateral collaborations with major medical centers and healthcare systems in central Taiwan, aiming to nurture professionals who possess diverse talents, medical expertise, and ethical grounding. The establishment of the Post-Baccalaureate Medicine and the College of Medicine marks a cornerstone in our university's development, ensuring comprehensive growth.

A Post-Baccalaureate Medicine within a comprehensive university not only fosters expertise in medicine but also integrates humanistic, scientific, managerial, and legal foundations, cultivating physicians with holistic care abilities. This development complements and amplifies our university's existing strengths while enhancing collaboration in medical biotechnology and healthcare industries. Our efforts will significantly elevate the university's influence in central Taiwan, guiding regional hospitals toward a new era of technological and digital advancements, and shaping a promising century for National Chung Hsing University (NCHU).

On January 28, 2022, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the Post-Baccalaureate Medicine. Subsequently, on February 25, 2022, the Ministry of Health and Welfare approved an enrollment quota of 23 government-funded students for the 2022 academic year.
